NUSA DUA. Indonesia will be the host of the 18th Coaltrans Asia Conference in Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Bali by 4th – 6th July, 2012. Minister of EMR is scheduled to open the annual conferences, tomorrow (4/6/2012).
The Conference will discuss about the development and problems of coal mining industry in Asia areas, new policies implemented in Asia Countries, especially Indonesia, investment chance, and also social aspect for citizens surrounding the mining.
The Conference will be attended by approximately 2.000 participants from India, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Indonesia itself as the host and other countries.
The Minister of EMR is planned to give a presentation regarding the policy of national energy security, especially after the declaration of BBM saving program by the President SBY last week.
Jero Wacik will take benefit from this conference to advice coal mining entrepreneurs in Indonesia and in Asia regional areas to be more concerned about the citizens surrounding the mine. “Coal mining entrepreneurs have to more concerned to the environment and citizens surrounding the mine,” said Jero Wacik in the event of Coaltrans Golf Classic, Monday (3/6/2012).
In the conference, the Director General of Mineral and Coal, MEMR, Thamrin Sihite will present the Government Policy in coal mining and also security guarantee for investors investing in Indonesia.
Besides conference and coalmining industry exhibition, the mining entrepreneurs of the conference participants will also perform the charity tournament of golf, tennis, and futsal in the 2012 Coaltrans. (AK)
