JAKARTA. The government asks the people to be calm and trust that the government and DPR will find the best way for the people related to the plan of subsidized BBM restriction.
“Governmental policy wont’t burden the people, so we ask the people to be calm and waiting for the next discussion between the government and DPR to decide the subsidized BBM restriction,” says Minister of EMR, Jero Wacik after the working meeting with commission VII DPR related to the plan of subsidized BBM restriction in Jakarta (30/01/2012).
The result of working meeting stated that considering the conversion of premium users to pertamax for four-wheeled private vehicles is considered too expensive and not fulfilling justice, temporarily the implementation of BBM to BBG conversion is considered having a quite high difficulty complexity level. Then appear an alternative policy by decreasing subsidy for premium per liter and also an advice to revise law number 22 year 2011 concerning State Budget 2012 and a proposal of judicial review of the Law to Constitutional Court of RI by citizens organization.
One of the decisions of the meeting also stated that to prepare implementation of Law Number 22/2011, commission VII DPR asks the government to prepare: • The road map for acceleration of non-subsidized BBM infrastructure construction (plants, terminal ground tanks, tank cars, and petrol stations) and also related incentive policy;  • An integrated plan for acceleration of BBM to BBG conversion program, including preparing gas, pipelines, SPBG (gas station), and converter kit allocation;• Rencana alokasi anggaran hasil penghematan subsidi BBM untuk percepatan pembangunan infrastruktur energi dan infrastruktur transportasi publik yang nyaman bagi masyarakat. Budget allocation plan as the result of subsidized BBM saving for the acceleration of energy infrastructure and comfortable public transportation infrastructure;• The working plan of Coordinating Team for Supply Misuse Prevention and BBM Distribution (TKP4BBM) to guard the consumption of subsidized BBM to be right on target;to immediately propose to cimission VII DPR. 
The meeting is the second meeting of commission VII DPR with Minister or EMR related to the plan of subsidized BBM restriction. After the first meeting, commission VII DPR also invited stakeholders to give opinions regarding the plan of subsidized BBM restriction. (AK)
