JAKARTA. The President of Republic of Indonesia, on January 6th 2012 has set Governmental Regulation Number 9 Year 2012 regarding Type and Tariff of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable in Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. In the regulation, the type of non-tax state revenue in Directorate General of Oil and Gas covers signature bonus becoming the obligation of Cooperation Contract Contractor (KKKS) and its amount is set in the Cooperation Contract (KKS).

Another thing included in PNBP of Directorate General of Oil and Gas is information service for bid document of oil and gas working area and coal bed methane, in which the tariff for every bid document is US$ 5.000.

Besides, the financial obligation of KKS termination not fulfilling the definite commitment of exploration is set based on the number of exploration definite commitment, which is not yet performed when the cooperation contract ended.

The regulation explains that cooperation contract is a share contract or other form of cooperation contract in exploration activity that is more beneficial to the state and the result is used as much as possible for people’s wealth.

The Governmental Regulation is decided by considering the need to re-manage the type and tariff of PNBP applicable in Ministry of EMR due to the changing of organization structure in Ministry of EMR and because there are some types of PNBP not yet regulated or because an adjustment is needed in Governmental Regulation Number 45 Year 2003 concerning the tariff for type of PNBP applicable in Ministry of EMR.
