JAKARTA. Based on the evaluation of the Government, during ten days after the implementation of prohibiting the consumption of subsidized BBM for Governmental service cars, BUMN, and BUMD, the purchase of premium decreased for 2, 4 %, while vice versa the purchase of pertamax increased 8%.
“The result of ten days implementation is quite good. Comparing to the result of last May 1st – 10th, it is better because the purchase of premium decreased and the purchase of pertamax increase,” said the Director General of Oil and Gas MEMR, Evita H. Legowo in the press conference after the Monitoring and Evaluation of Energy and Ground Water Saving in Ministry of EMR, Friday (15/6).
She explained the premium consumption decreased 2, 4 %, while the purchase of pertamax increased 8,5 %. The result is achieved in a condition that the sticker of consuming non-subsidized BBM are not yet distributed all. After the stickers distributed for Jabodetabek areas, hopefully the saving will be better.
The Chairman of Energy and Ground Water Saving National Team, Kardaya Warnika reminded that the saving is newly implemented in Jabodetabek areas. Meanwhile, for Java-Bali will start by next August.
“It is important to be delivered because many reports that there are many service cars purchasing subsidized BBM in some areas. In fact those areas are not yet regulated,” he said.
The event opened by the Vice Minister of EMR, Rudi Rubiandini and attended by related institutions, discussed about the progress and the problem faced such as the sticker is not attached in the proper place. The small sticker supposed to be attached in the left corner of the front part of the car to be able to be noticed by the workers of SPBU. Meanwhile, the bigger sticker is attached in the back of the car to socialize the program to citizens. (AK)
