JAKARTA – Along by the end of hometown travelling and countercurrent Lebaran Eid al-Fitr 1433H, BBM supply could be fulfilled well. Pertamina also said thanks for all sides’ cooperation starting from SPBU operators, Hiswana Migas, DLLAJR, and Police Department, so BBM supply during the period worked well especially in hometown travelling route experiencing extraordinary traffic jam

To anticipate countercurrent that possibly still happen, even with its decreased numbers, Pertamina Task Force Team will be in charge up to H+15 or September 4th, 2012.

National Premium consumption within the period of August 6th – 26th, 2012 approximately reached 85.613 KL/day or increased 10 % comparing to daily average consumption in normal condition (77.657 KL/day). The number is 12% higher than the daily average consumption in 2011 (76.502 KL/day)

Based on the assumption, diesel oil consumption during the period decreased up to 20%, 35.428 KL/day comparing to daily average consumption in normal condition (44.145 KL/day). However, the number still increased 21% than the daily average consumption in 2011 (29.345 KL/day).

Some problem happened was mainly due to BBM distribution problem caused by traffic jam in time of home travelling crowd of the same time. Overcoming the problem, Pertamina assisted by Police Department had distributed BBM by tank car contra flow.

As the result of evaluation for BBM distribution next year, Pertamina plan to add the number/capacity of BBM kantong in traffic jam-prone areas and divert the BBM distribution supply from the location having smoother traffic.

The Realization of BBM PSO Distribution

The realization of BBM PSO distribution per August 27th, 2012 have reached 28, 9 million KL consisting of 18, 2 million KL Premium, 10 million KL diesel oil and 0,7 million KL kerosene. The realization of premium distribution reached 95, 6% of the 2012 quota (24, 4 million KL) or reached 113% of the Premium quota up to August 27th, 2012 (16 million KL). The realization of diesel oil reached 94% of the 2012 quota (13, 8 million KL) or reached 109% of the quota up to August 27th, 2012 (9 million KL). The realization of kerosene distribution reached 69% of the 2012 quota 91, 7 million KL) or 94% of the quota up to August 2012 (1, 1 million KL).

By having the current average consumption level is predicted that subsidized BBM distribution will only adequate up to the mid of November 2012, while for kerosene quota is able to fulfill the need up to the end of the year. (AK)
