MINISTRY OF ENERGY AND MINERAL RESOURCES
REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

PRESS RELEASE
OUR REF: 30/HUMAS KESDM/2011
Date: May 13th, 2011

THE RETAIL PRICE OF CERTAIN FUELS: GASOLINE PREMIUM,
GAS OIL AND KEROSENE ARE FIXED

The monitoring and evaluation of crude oil price development and BBM product price in the world market are continuously increased because of political conflict in North Africa and Middle East and also the US dollar exchange rate development towards the world’s main currencies. The average of Indonesian Crude Oil Price (ICP) June 2010 up to May 2011 is higher than the assumption of oil price in State Budget (APBN) 2011. Therefore, starting at 00.00 local time on May 15th, 2011 is maintained that the retail price of certain BBM; Gasoline Premium, Gas Oil, and Kerosene are not changing and fixed refer to Regulation of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 1 Year 2009, Date January 12th, 2009 concerning The Retail Price of Certain BBM of the type of Kerosene, Gasoline Premium, Gas Oil for Domestic Needs, Small Enterprise, Fish Farm, Transportation and Public Services, which are Gasoline Premium Rp. 4.500,- (four thousand five hundred rupiah) per liter, Gas Oil Rp. 4.500,- (four thousand five hundred rupiah) per liter and Kerosene Rp. 2.500,- (two thousand five hundred rupiah) per liter.
