Minister of EMR Presented Minerba Awards 2020

On Tuesday morning (29/9), Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) Arifin Tasrif opened the Awards Ceremony of Application of Good Technique Principles to Mineral and Coal Mining of 2020. Minister of EMR expects that companies receiving the awards can become role models and the epitome for the application of mining technique principles.

"I appreciate this event and hope that it can become the benchmark for carrying out mining technique principles by other mining companies," said Arifin.

Minister Tasrif congratulated the awards winners and expected they set an example to other companies in carrying out their mining activities.

"I'd like to congratulate mining companies that receive a certificate of achievement, trophy of achievement, and trophy of the Best Award for Application of Mining Technique Principles. I hope that these mining companies and mining service companies can become role models, the epitome, and a place to see and be seen for the application of mining technique principles," Mr. Tasrif said.

The awarding of Achievement for the Application of Good Technique Principles to Mineral and Coal Mining is a routine event held by Ministry of EMR, in this case, Directorate General of Mineral and Coal.

This event is a forum for showing the government's appreciation to mining companies and mining service companies that have made the efforts to comply with technical principles, conserve resources and reserves, create safe working conditions, and protect the environment, in order to realize Good Mining Practices.

The Achievement for the Application of Good Technique Principles to Mineral and Coal Mining of 2020 consists of the following awards:

1. Best Award for Successful Application of Good Mining Technique Principles

2. Mineral and Coal Mining Technique Management Award

3. Mineral and Coal Mining Safety Management Award

4. Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management Award

5. Mineral and Coal Conservation Management Award

6. Standardization and Services Business Management Award in Mineral and Coal Mining.

The Best Awards for Successful Application of Good Mining Technique Principles went to:

1. PT J Resources Bolaang Mongondow for Best Application of Good Mining Technique Principles in the Mineral Commodities Group; and

2. PT Adaro Indonesia for Best Application of Good Mining Technique Principles in the Coal Commodities Group. (IY)
