Commemoration of World's Anticorruption Day, Ministry of EMR Wins Best LHKPN Management

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) wins the Best Management of State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) of 2019 at National Executive agency level. The announcement is made by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the commemoration of the World's Anticorruption Day (Hakordia) 2019 in Jakarta, Monday (9/12) attended by Vice President of Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin, representing President of Republic of Indonesia.

At the National Executive agency level, two other ministries also win the Best LHKPN Management, namely Ministry of Finance (Mandatory Reporting for more than 10,000 people) and Ministry of Agriculture (Mandatory Reporting for less than 1,500 people). Ministry of EMR gets an award for the Mandatory Reporting for 1,500-10,000 people.

The awards are made for these ministries' compliance. In addition to national-level institutions, KPK also gives LHKPN management awards to a number of regional governments, SOEs, and Regional Government-Owned Enterprises, all meeting the criteria of compliance that is higher than 80% (compliance of Ministry of EMR is 100%); and having regulation about LHKPN.

For provincial government, the best PIC are governments of Riau Islands and West Sumatra Barat. For regency government/municipality, the best PIC are governments of Batam City, Badung Regency, and Karawang Regency.

The e-LHKPN makes it easier for state administrators and PIC of LHKPN at institutions/agencies to submit wealth reports electronically. State administrators' compliance with report submission is set as a benchmark evaluated by KPK (20%). The score is also based on timely submission by 31st of March (20%); and completeness of Power of Attorney (60%).

The objective of e-LHKPN is to form Clean State Administrators, and as Transparency and HR Management instrument (beginning of Office), Monitoring instrument (during Office), and as Accountability instrument (end of Office). (IY)
